Compared to months ago, the Beren in Kerkrade is no longer what it used to be... We came for dinner at Christmas and could choose from a 3-course menu or the normal menu. We opted for the normal menu, spare ribs with fries and raw vegetables... to start with, the raw vegetables were so dry and had no taste. The spareribs were cold. However, the fries were warm. We had no cutlery... asked for 3 x mayonnaise with the fries. We were given a small tub that was half full. After dinner asked for the bill. For 3 people we had to pay more than €150, which was actually not worth it. So unfortunately we won't be coming anymore. + point: fast delivery of the food

We had dinner here for Christmas, plenty of choice for everyone. The food was very tasty, I would definitely have the spare ribs again.

Wow! We had such a delicious meal here and the service was great! Special thanks to Danique who helped make my birthday extra fun! Danique is truly an asset. We will definitely come here more often... Update 10-06-2023: once again we had a delicious meal and Danique even recognized me from last year! The staff was again very friendly and helpful with an extra thank you for Maud 😉👍 Update 30-12-2023: again a delicious meal. Unfortunately no Danique, but the service was again very successful

Nice affordable restaurant with a good variety on the menu. Food was ok. Personnel was friendly and informative. Good place for a less hasty dinner than next door places.
